There's nothing quite like summer vacation…especially if you are a busy parent. Atlanta Rocks! understands the challenges associated with parenting today's youngsters. We also know that you can't be a multi-tasking phenom and — at the same time — keep your kids challenged and fulfilled. Have no fear, because we've got you covered. Atlanta Rocks! Summer Rocks! program keeps the young ones busy and gives you the time you need to run errands, attend meetings, or just relax and un-wind.
Summer Rocks! is only offered during the weeks of Atlanta Rocks! Camps from 2 pm-5 pm, Monday-Friday (except holidays), for youngsters ages 8-16 who are current Atlanta Rocks! Summer Camp participants. Summer Rocks! is a great way to provide them additional climbing time. For those children who are not enrolled in our summer camps, please check out our Novice Climb program.
Climbing builds self-confidence and enhances teamwork and self-reliance. Climbers learn to control their bodies and solve complex physical challenges by using their brains as well as their muscles. The social and athletic skills acquired through climbing will provide a lifetime of enjoyment. Youngsters are kept busy by Atlanta Rocks! experienced staff. While they're having fun, they'll enjoy developing friendships with other Summer Rocks! climbers. Parents are encouraged to relax in the gym, or get some work done, while their kids climb (Free Wi-Fi).
Summer Rocks! activities may include the following:
- Top Rope Climbing and Belaying (once a belay test is passed for those 12+)
- Speed-Climbing
- Bouldering
- Traversing
- Endurance training
- Rotating-Climbing Wall
- Technique Instruction
- Climbing Games
Summer Rocks! is $25 per visit. Five visit Punch Cards are available for only $100.

An Atlanta Rocks! Waiver of Liability Agreement is required of all climbers. If the climber is under 18, it must be signed by their parent or legal guardian. Download waiver here.
